PAMA expanded as Professional Aviation Maintenance Association is a proficient organization for Aviation Maintenance Technicians. The resolution of the Professional Aviation Maintenance Association is to stimulate a high degree of professionalism among aviation maintenance personnel; to foster and advance the methods, skills, learning, and achievement in the arena of Aviation Maintenance; to organise national, state, and local meetings, conferences and seminars; to recognize triumph in the field; to publish, allocate, and propagate news, technical bulletins, journals and other suitable publications allocating with the skill of Aviation Maintenance; to collaborate with supplementary organizations in aviation; to address the interrogations of governmental agencies pertaining to conservation of  rules and guiding  principles.

First Annual Convention took place on August 19, 1972 in Pittsburgh, PA, where the Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA) was set up and William Collister chose first PAMA President.  The Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA) Chapter Start-up Kit was produced to help you and your companions in building up a PAMA Chapter in your general vicinity. American Professional Aviation Maintenance society- There are nearly 300 aviation societies and association in United States of America which covers wide range of aviation procedures. Major of the societies are located at Indiana, Washington DC, New York, New jersey, Florida, Connecticut etc.

European Professional Aviation Society- The Association of European Airlines is a non-profit industry organisation, bringing together 22 major European airlines as the trusted voice of the European airline industry for 60 years. AEA works together with the institutions of the European Union and other stakeholders in the value chain to ensure the sustainable growth of the European airline industry in a global marketplace.
