Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists

This general public is one of the biggest and most seasoned local topographical social orders in the United States. This is a not-for-profit association which was established in the year 1922. The general public is subsidiary to American Association of Petroleum Geologists. RMAG supports month to month addresses, Continuing Education Courses, distributes land research and backers a few instructive meetings. The motivations behind this association are to advance enthusiasm for geography and partnered sciences, to cultivate exploratory research and to empower cooperation and participation among its individuals. Fundamental missions of RMAG are to empower association and participation among its individuals, and to disperse geologic data. The fundamental individuals from this association are geoscientists from enterprises, the educated community, state and national governments, and understudies. PMAAG reliably exhibit commitment to morals, Geoscience magnificence, polished methodology, training, partnership, feeling of group and volunteerism. The RMGA Foundation was built up on December 31, 1975 by Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists. The advantages of the Foundation come mostly from reinvested income, however to a great extent from commitment given by the individuals from RMAG.

As of today there are about 120 associations located in USA and other countries such as, London, Canada, Austria, Belgium, India and Pakistan.

European Geological Societies: There are several organizations in Europe dealing with the various geosciences, including geology, geophysics, and related fields. Many national, international, worldwide societies and associations are present in Europe. Some societies are also located in different other countries, whereas their head offices are located in Europe. There are around 120-130 associations in Europe and other nearby countries.

Asia-Pacific Geological Societies: There are few organizations in Asia and Pacific dealing with the various geosciences, including geology, geophysics, and other related fields. There are around 30-40 associations in Europe and other nearby countries.

Middle-East Geological Societies: There are very few Geological Societies in Middle-East. These societies deal with several geology related subjects. There are around 30-45 societies in Middle-East and nearby countries.
