Canadian Agricultural Safety Association

The Canadian Agricultural Safety Association was originated in 1993 in response to an identified need for a national farm safety networking and coordinating agency to indicate problems of illness, injuries and accidental death in farmers, in agricultural  field.  CASA has worked to improve the health and safety conditions of those who live and work on Canadian farms. In the future, CASA will operate as a national health and safety initiator and service provider. Canada’s agricultural industry is top three most hazardous industries in which to work and yet, farmers themselves believe their safety tendency are better than fair. Farm Credit Canada recently conducted a national survey. Producer groups, non-profits, government bodies, industry and researchers formed what is now the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association (CASA) in 1993 to respond to issues of health and safety in agriculture.
As a national, non-profit organization, CASA promotes farm safety in the agricultural sector. CASA’s vision is a country where no one is hurt farming and CASA works with partners in government, business, and farming organizations across the country to support initiatives that equip producers, their families and their workers with the information and tools needed to make farms a safe place to live, work and play. Canadian Agricultural Injury Reporting (CAIR) - formerly the Canadian Agricultural Injury Surveillance Program (CAISP) - is an integrated national surveillance project of the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association that guides and informs the national agricultural health and safety agenda. The Canadian Agricultural Safety Association (CASA) is a national organization committed to improving the health and safety of farmers, their families .

About Canadian Agricultural Safety Association

Canadian Agricultural Safety Association was established in 1993 in response to an identified need for a national farm safety networking and coordinating agency to address problems of illness, injuries and accidental death in farmers, their families and agricultural workers. Since then, CASA has worked to improve the health and safety conditions of those who live and work on Canadian farms. In the future, CASA will operate as a national health and safety initiator and service provider , Europe, and Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions throughout the world during 2017-18. These conferences will focus on different topics such as Cardiology, Dentistry, Dermatology, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Nutrition and  Food safety, Gastroenterology, Immunology, Nephrology, Neurology and Psychiatry, Nursing and Palliative care,  Oncology and  Pathology ,Ophthalmology ,Surgery,  Toxicology,  Paediatrics and many more.
 

USA Agriculture safety Association: There are nearly 500 medical societies and association in United States of America which covers wide range of medical fields which includes cancer, immunology, cardiology, diabetes, neurology, nephrology etc.  Many national, international, worldwide societies and associations are present in USA. Some societies are also located in different other countries, whereas their head offices are located in USA.  As of today approximately 105 Cancer Societies, 35 Immunology societies, 75 Cardiology Societies, 35 Diabetes societies, 52 Nursing societies, 36 Toxicology societies are located in different parts of USA  such as Baltimore, Chicago, Florida, California, Texas, Georgia, Illinois and Ohio.

European Agriculture safety Association: In European region there are almost 425 medical societies and associations located in UK, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Norway and Netherlands. Next to USA, Europe is considered to have excellent research facilities and infrastructures. There are almost 52 Pathology societies, 25 Immunology Societies, 32 Nursing Societies, 42 Neurology Societies, 20 Dermatology Societies, 19 Dentistry Associations, 105 Cancer Associations and 34 Ophthalmology societies  along with many other societies and associations,  these societies were established with an aim of improving the scope and interaction among the researchers and the scientific world.

Asia- Pacific Agriculture safety Association: Asia is the largest and the most populous continent. There are many medical societies and associations in different countries, which will be almost 475 societies in number approximately. Majority of the societies are located in Australia, China, India, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines and Singapore. In Asian countries there are around 68 Cancer Societies, 120 Diabetes Societies, 85 Food and Nutrition Association and Societies, 32 Cardiology Societies, 11 Nephrology Societies and many other societies on diverse field are present in Asia- pacific countries which are contributing towards the research world.

Middle East Agriculture safety Association : Societies and Association located in the Middle East region are almost 376 in number. These are mostly located in Turkey, Iran, Israel, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. In Middle East, nearly 34 Dentistry Societies, 32 Cancer Societies, 42 Diabetes Societies, 15 Surgery Societies, 64 Pediatrics Societies along with many other societies, associations and organizations are supporting the researchers and scientists to accomplish their researches in the particular research field.
