Brazilian Society of Agricultural Engineering

SBEA is to promote, stimulate, improve and disseminate knowledge in the field of agricultural engineering and agriculture. SBEA was founded in 1965, non-profit non-governmental professional organization.

The organization is mostly active in the Congress of Agricultural Engineering with amount of 7,000 scientific articles and technicians presented for Brazilian specialists and other nations around the world.

In 2015, SBEA - Brazilian Association of Agricultural Engineering celebrated its golden jubilee. Are 50 years of operation and an accumulated work history and achievements throughout this period. The SBEA is to increase the dissemination and consolidate technical and scientific knowledge of agricultural engineering in the scenario of Agricultural Sciences.

In order to fulfil the objectives proposed by this group, published for over 25 years, the Journal Agricultural Engineering senior technical-scientific editorial vehicle. Other actions are conferences, meetings, forums and events and makes that support regional education programs.

The association was created September 13, 1965, first as the Brazilian Society of Agricultural Engineering in the College of Agriculture . In 1980, during the Tenth Congress of Agricultural Engineering of Brazil (CONBEA), it was decided to transfer the headquarters of the organization to the National Center Agricultural Engineering (CENEA), Ministry of Agriculture agency, where she was held for seven years.

During the XVI CONBEA again by majority decision of the General Assembly, he was appointed to the Rural Engineering Department of the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences of Jaboticabal campus of the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Julio de Mesquita Filho "(UNESP), as a permanent headquarters, currently based its Secretariat and the Executive Council.

Some societies are also located in different other countries, whereas their head offices are located in USA.  As of today approximately 105 Cancer Societies, 35 Immunology societies, 75 Cardiology Societies, 35 Diabetes societies, 52 Nursing societies, 36 Toxicology societies are located in different parts of USA  such as Baltimore, Chicago, Florida, California, Texas, Georgia, Illinois and Ohio.

European Medical Societies: In European region there are almost 425 medical societies and associations located in UK, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Norway and Netherlands. Next to USA, Europe is considered to have excellent research facilities and infrastructures. There are almost 52 Pathology societies, 25 Immunology Societies, 32 Nursing Societies, 42 Neurology Societies, 20 Dermatology Societies, 19 Dentistry Associations, 105 Cancer Associations and 34 Ophthalmology societies along with many other societies and associations, these societies were established with an aim of improving the scope and interaction among the researchers and the scientific world.

Asia- Pacific Medical Societies: Asia is the largest and the most populous continent. There are many medical societies and associations in different countries, which will be almost 575 societies in number approximately. Majority of the societies are located in China, Australia,  India, New Zealand, Philippines, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore. In Asian countries there are around 110 Diabetes Societies, 85 Food and Nutrition Association and Societies, 98 Cancer Societies, 42 Cardiology Societies, 21 Nephrology Societies and many other societies on diverse field are present in Asia- pacific countries which are contributing towards the research world.

Middle East Medical Societies: Societies and Association located in the Middle East region are almost 376 in number. These are mostly located in Turkey, Iran, Israel, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. In Middle East, nearly 44 Dentistry Societies, 32 Cancer Societies, 52 Diabetes Societies, 25 Surgery Societies, 74 Paediatrics Societies along with many other societies, associations and organizations are supporting the researchers and scientists to accomplish their researches in the particular research field.
