Association of American Seed Control Officials

The Association of yank Seed management officers was organized in 1949. The primary national meeting, which was held in Kansas town by Seed Branch of executive department. The Association meets for the purpose of discussing the mutual issues or problems and concerns relating to the seed enforcement and administration every year. It’s the goal of AASCO to attain uniformity of seed legislation between member states and Federal agencies through unity of the membership. The objective of AASCO is to promote and to build the basic requirements of a state seed law which shall serve as guidelines for member states and also to foster uniformity of procedures and policies. To coordinate action and cooperate with member states on all seed matters. It also creates the sense of mutual understanding between members of association to other groups or organizations that are involved. Its also sponsors, endorses, instigates, evaluates and suggests seed research designed to standardize the competent and expedient methods of seed testing. It also improves the qualifications of all personnel engaged in seed control activities. The meetings of AASCO were started in the year 2010, completing 7 successful annual meetings. There are 12 committees supporting the association. It also provides accreditation to seed samplers under the Process Verified Program (PVP) of Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS). Society conference, meetings and events acts as an excellent bridge between the researchers across the globe. These meetings are wonderful global platform for knowledge exchange, sharing, networking and collaboration. USA Medical Societies: There are nearly 500 medical societies and association in United States of America which covers wide range of medical fields which includes cancer, immunology, cardiology, diabetes, neurology, nephrology etc.  Many national, international, worldwide societies and associations are present in USA. Some societies are also located in different other countries, whereas their head offices are located in USA.  As of today approximately 105 Cancer Societies, 35 Immunology societies, 75 Cardiology Societies, 35 Diabetes societies, 52 Nursing societies, 36 Toxicology societies are located in different parts of USA  such as Baltimore, Chicago, Florida, California, Texas, Georgia, Illinois and Ohio.

European Medical Societies: In European region there are almost 425 medical societies and associations located in UK, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Norway and Netherlands. Next to USA, Europe is considered to have excellent research facilities and infrastructures. There are almost 52 Pathology societies, 25 Immunology Societies, 32 Nursing Societies, 42 Neurology Societies, 20 Dermatology Societies, 19 Dentistry Associations, 105 Cancer Associations and 34 Ophthalmology societies  along with many other societies and associations,  these societies were established with an aim of improving the scope and interaction among the researchers and the scientific world.

Asia- Pacific Medical Societies: Asia is the largest and the most populous continent. There are many medical societies and associations in different countries, which will be almost 575 societies in number approximately. Majority of the societies are located in Australia, China, India, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines and Singapore. In Asian countries there are around 98 Cancer Societies, 110 Diabetes Societies, 85 Food and Nutrition Association and Societies, 42 Cardiology Societies, 21 Nephrology Societies and many other societies on diverse field are present in Asia- pacific countries which are contributing towards the research world.
