The american Surgical Hospital Association (ASHA) today proclaimed that it's changing its name to physician Hospitals of America (PHA). The new name reflects the association's focus to promote the advancement of hospitals that include physicians as owners. physician Hospitals of America was supported in 2001 and has nearly 100 members. physician Hospitals of America, or PHA, offers support, advocacy and educational services to the physician owned hospital industry, reflecting at all times the best interests of the patients, physicians, and other providers who play an inextricable and essential role in the provision of healthcare services. Currently, there are around 125 hospitals across the U.S. with at least partial ownership by physicians. additional development is expected across the us. according to the american Medical Association (AMA), specialty hospitals offer and also improved for cost-effective care.  They encourage competition between and among health facilities that has led to the delivery of higher quality, more efficient and innovative health care in the communities in which they are located. the future of physician-owned hospitals is exciting to say that, "It is our belief that the physician-owned hospital industry is poised for great success”. the realization of such success will certainly benefit the quality of care, efficiency of treatment and choice of service currently available to patients. physician HOSPITALS OF AMERICA based in 2001, physician Hospitals of America (PHA) represents physician-owned hospitals through education and advocacy based in sioux falls, south dakota, and PHA works with hospitals, state associations and corporations on a national level to promote physician-owned hospitals in the us. Physician-owned hospitals provide superior patient care, best physicians and additional efficient delivery of healthcare. PHA will support its members in their efforts to advance the quality and availability of healthcare in their specific communities. PHA can provide Members Services during a positive format to support continuing education, networking, communication and collaboration on current trends and ideas. PHA will advocate for the interest of physician owned hospitals on the federal level and support state and local level advocacy, while encouraging members to become or remain politically engaged. PHA will seek to enhance tending standards of patient care through industry benchmarking and quality improvement initiatives. PHA will promote collaboration within individual healthcare communities and will at all times support efforts that encourage all levels of the healthcare system to perform at exemplary levels. PHA envisions a healthcare system focused primarily on quality patient care, in which physicians are involved in every aspect of delivery.

Surgical science Societies in Middle East are involved with surgical pathology, Cataract and Refractive surgery as well.

Surgery Societies Conferences : There are almost 200 Surgical Science Meetings and conferences which are scheduled including the society conferences for the year 2016 and 2017 in different parts of the globe.
