Knee Society

Knee Society was established in 1983 in Rosemont, USA. The society sole aim and mission is to promote exceptional care to patients with knee disorders through advanced research and education. In October 1993, the Knee Society Board of Directors started an award program to identify praiseworthy performances at the annual Specialty Day meetings. In 1995, the Board designated three awards to be presented annually, in honor of Knee Society members Mark Coventry (for the best Basic Science Paper), Chitranjan Ranawat (for the best work on a Surgical Technique) and John Insall (for the best work on a Clinical Subject or Outcomes Report). The society also organizes various conference and meetings throughout the world. The society also motivates the patients by giving them education about the latest research work going on in the field of knee surgery. Patients can educate them by going through different articles of the interest such as, Common Knee Injuries, Unicompartmental Knee Replacement, Total Knee Replacement and. Knee Osteotomy

About Knee Society

There are many Orthopaedic Societies throughout the world, both national and international. Among all the societies Knee society is renowned throughout the world.  Some of These orthopaedic societies are working on specific topics such as hip, head and neck, knee, shoulder, foot and ankle, elbow, bone etc. Some of the knee Societies in different parts of the world is as follows:

American Knee and Orthopaedic Societies: USA is the epic centre for the research world. There are several societies working on different field, out of which around 55 USA knee and orthopaedic societies and associations are present.  These societies and association are located in Alabama, Illinois, Washington, California and North America and also in Canada.          

European Knee and Orthopaedic Societies: Europe is growing day by day with its research work and tradition. Among this Orthopaedics related research in in its high peak. Asia-Pacific Knee and Orthopaedic Societies: Being the largest continent in the world and huge population Asia is growing with its scientific research work. There among this orthopaedic research field had its great impact in the Sub-continent. There are around 62 Knee and Orthopaedics Societies in Asia-Pacific region. These Societies are located in Australia, India, China, Japan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Middle East Knee and Orthopaedic Societies: In Middle East almost 23 Knee and Orthopaedic Societies are present. Among these most are located in Dubai and Turkey.

Annual Meetings: There are almost 105 Orthopaedics Meetings and conferences which are scheduled by these societies for the year 2016 and 2017 in different parts of the sphere. These international Orthopaedics Conferences and Knee and Orthopaedic Annual Meetings are intended to bring together all the recent researches, new innovations and findings in a global platform.
