Notre Dame Orthopaedic Society

Notre Dame Orthopaedic Society has been founded in 1995 by Notre Dame Alumni specializing in multiple fields of orthopaedics; the Society has grown to an organization helping over 350 Notre Dame Graduates Students. Since then it has provided education to Notre Dame Alumni who focus on orthopaedic surgery.   The Society tries to improve patient care by fostering the science of orthopaedics. The Society conceits itself on providing an atmosphere of teaching and learning through speech, presentation and personal discussion from faculty and physicians from orthopaedic practices across the country. It provides an educational weekend which gives an opportunity for families to return to Notre Dame and visit a campus that has experienced amazing development in recent years. For others, the event conducted by this society allows fellow Notre Dame Graduates to talk about and reconnect socially and professionally.

American Orthopaedic Societies: USA is considered to be the heart of research. There are many societies performing research in wider scope of the relevant field, out of which almost 80 USA Orthopaedic Societies and associations are present. These societies and association are located in Argentina, Illinois, Washington, California and Florida.

European Orthopaedic Societies: More than 45 Pathology Societies in Europe are contributing towards Orthopaedic research activities through their annual congress, journal and newsletters. Majority of these European Orthopaedic Societies and Associations are located in Belgium, Ireland, UK and Italy.

Asia-Pacific Orthopaedic Societies: Almost 23 Asian Orthopaedic Societies working on musculoskeletal as well as Paediatrics research. These associations are situated mostly in Japan, Singapore, China and India. These societies were established in different time periods by eminent Orthopaedists and scientists performing the research in this field.

Middle East Orthopaedic Societies: The Societies Middle East are mainly found in Dubai which is responsible Trauma research.

Orthopaedic Society Conferences: There are nearly 100 Orthopaedic Conferences and Meetings which are programmed by these societies for the respective years in different parts of the world.
